Patients can expect a high level of expertise in pain medicine in my treatment. I treat both new orthopaedic pain and chronic pain that has been present for a long time.
Focal points of treatment
The majority of my treatments involve patients with orthopaedic, degenerative complaints that have existed for a long time, recur repeatedly and in many cases could not be resolved even with unsuccessful preliminary treatments.
However, patients with acute problems and classic pain patients with migraines, nerve pain or headaches are also part of my usual patient base. In order to achieve lasting success and not just short-term relief from symptoms, I treat my patients at regular intervals, usually over a longer period of time.
Healing instead of fighting symptoms - that is the motto of regenerative medicine. This medical discipline deals with pain relief for various illnesses or injuries by restoring non-functioning cells and tissues. The body's own regeneration and repair processes are stimulated, for example by the body's own growth factors and messenger substances.
The aim of all my treatments is to use medication as selectively and therefore as little as possible.

Brief vita at a glance
I studied in Frankfurt am Main and completed my specialist training in anesthesiology at the BG Unfallklinik Frankfurt and Klinikum Offenbach.
After completing my specialist training and further training as a pain therapist, I initially worked as a senior consultant at the "Center for Acute and Post-Acute Intensive Care Medicine" in Seeheim-Jugenheim on the Hessian Bergstrasse. After almost three years, the time came for me to move from the hospital to private practice.
Since then, I have devoted myself entirely to pain medicine. I first worked at the "MVZ CoMED" in Heppenheim as an employed pain therapist. Since September 2021, I have been working as part of the private practice "Lumedis" in Frankfurt. Since August 2022, I have been a co-founder and partner of Auromedicum - the orthopaedic joint practice based in Frankfurt am Main.
Exercise and sport have always been very important to me, as both are the best way for me to balance my working day - and preferably in the great outdoors. My passion is mountain biking, but I also enjoy riding my racing bike. I also try to keep fit and stable with functional training.

My approach
In order to find out which structure is causing your pain problem, I consult images, findings and information about your previous treatments in an initial consultation and use these to develop a treatment plan. It is important to realize that not every pathology causes a problem.
The aim is to determine the actual "culprit" for the complaints through a subsequent structured manual therapy examination.
This is achieved by palpating painful and tactilely conspicuous structures and using ultrasound. Once the cause has been identified, I use regenerative methods such as trigger acupuncture, manual medicine and prolotherapy to treat it successfully.
It is not uncommon for the target structures of the treatment to change, especially in the case of long-term complaints, and the therapy must be adapted accordingly to the new needs.
